DUST Identity is a fast-growing venture-backed startup at the intersection of innovations in materials, hardware, and software. DUST Identity is looking for new team members who are eager to take on the challenge of building the industry standard for physical object identification and security.

Your Impact

DUST Identity is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to join our collaborative and multifaceted Go-To-Market Team for the upcoming summer. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work as a part of the Go-To-Market team, investigating and developing a strategy overview for sales verticals (Aerospace & Defense, Additive Manufacturing), pricing strategies, competitive landscape and the current market for Digital Thread.

DUST is looking for eager, well rounded business students that can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects, collaborating alongside senior and executive members of DUST’s rapidly growing team. Interning at a startup like DUST will allow you to gain a broader exposure to cross functional teams and projects, force you to think quickly and creatively, and will ultimately allow you to leave a significant and positive impact on the company by the end of the summer.

What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Business program
  • Market Research experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with prospective and existing clients and internal associates.
  • Results oriented with demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and present results neatly, with clarity and precision in oral and written form.
  • Ability to work semi-autonomously in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and Google applications (primarily Presentation, Document and Spreadsheet) with the ability to operate standard office equipment is required.

Bonus Points:

  • Sales or marketing experience


  • Collaborate closely with members of DUST’s Go-To-Market team to build and define a market strategy for the sales organization
  • Prepare market overview for the Go-to-Market team’s current targets of Aerospace & Defense and Additive Manufacturing
  • Research the market opportunity for Digital Thread
  • Prepare recommendations on pricing based on market research
  • Help prepare presentations with the sales team for upcoming customer meetings
